Any recommendations on notification or alerts when raid has degraded etc? I searched the forum and did not find anything. Maybe I am thinking about the wrong way or I am better ojf just running a script.

HI @makyz, if you are using ZFS we have an alertmanager stack which you can deploy which will send you emails when your ZFS pool goes degraded

@Hutch-45Drives after reviewing the readme, would I setup the “exporters” on the hl15 and then the “metrics” group (the monitoring stack) on some other hardware in my rack? I could probably just pile everything onto the hl15 but trying to hold back on my worst impulses
we would normally run this directly on the same NAS system so you can just deploy it all on the HL15.
Or of you want you can have it on a different system if you would like
