Powering GPU with Corsair RM750e

I got a GTX 1660ti I want to hook up to my system but noticed that the PSU only has PCIe ports. Is there a simple way to power my GPU with this power supply or do I need to get a new one?

I’ve heard of people splicing and creating cables, but I don’t feel knowledgeable enough to do that right and not burn out my system.

In the box of extras that came with the HL15 should have been the unused cables for the modular supply and one of those should be for a PCIe 8-pin (6+2 pin) connector that should work with your GPU. Maybe I’m missing something.

And to further help clarify the above. What DigitalGarden has said isn’t just a workaround, the PCIE outputs on PSU’s are the correct circuits to be using for your GPU. Just have to dig through that box and find the correct cable!

Thanks for the replies!

I don’t think I got that box with my HL15… but I’m glad I don’t need a new psu for this.

I’ll chat with QS and see what are my next steps.
