Molex power midplate

I have a Seasonic prime TX-1000

• I assume it’s okay to use to power the midplate?
• I have two cables in the box, one with two molex’s and one with 3 molex’s. I assume it’s okay if I use two molex connectors from each cable on the midplate?

Hi, Can anyone clarify what the requirements are for the Molex connections to the backplane? Specifically, how many separate cables are required for the 4x Molex connections? Can you daisy-chain 1 cable (i.e. 1x4) or do you need 2x2 or do you need 4x1? Basically, the only time someone might see an issue is if they were a) using a 4-molex cable into a single PSU SATA/PATA port or b) not using all four molex connectors on the midplate. So, spreading the load across the four molexes and two SATA connectors on the PSU, you’re fine.
