I have a Seasonic prime TX-1000
- I assume it’s okay to use to power the midplate?
- I have two cables in the box, one with two molex’s and one with 3 molex’s. I assume it’s okay if I use two molex connectors from each cable on the midplate?

That will be fine. It’s not concise, but here’s a thread with some supporting info;
Basically, the only time someone might see an issue is if they were a) using a 4-molex cable into a single PSU SATA/PATA port or b) not using all four molex connectors on the midplate. So, spreading the load across the four molexes and two SATA connectors on the PSU, you’re fine.
Hello…
As per my knowledge… Yes, the Seasonic Prime TX-1000 should have no problem powering the midplate, as it’s a high-quality PSU with plenty of capacity. Using two Molex connectors from each cable should be fine, but just make sure you’re not overloading any single cable or connector.
I hope this will help you!
