Has anyone had any luck getting one to work with their X15? I have a teetek hdmi kvm switch 4 in 1 out and my X 15 will not boot unless I plug the mouse and keyboard into it. Kind of defeats the purpose. The HDMI connection works though. Any ideas? Thanks
The Gigabyte MW34-SP0 should operate headless. What error do you get and when if there is no keyboard or mouse connected? Whether the cheap KVM introduces some challenges to the boot is separate.
What happens in these scenarios?
- Nothing whatsoever plugged into USB: power up the X15 and see whether Unraid eventually becomes reachable over the network/BMC.
- KVM USB cable connected, but no keyboard/mouse directly connected: boot it.
2a. Try with the KVM switched to the X15 before power-on.
2b. Then boot with the KVM switched to a different computer. - Try KVM HDMI only, leaving the KVM’s USB cable disconnected from the X15.
