HL8 Office Deployment

I finished up an office deployment of an HL8 today. I think the HL8 is the PERFECT solution for a business just starting out. I bought this one pre-configured and ready to do with no disks. I loaded it up with 1TB SSDs, installed Proxmox and I am running VMs and have shared storage shared among a few endpoints within this small office. I have attached some pictures of the setup.

I bought this a day before 45Drives announced their MSP lineup of black chassis servers. Next installation I am looking forward to checking one of those out!

thats a cute little 1u UPS. but it costs more than the 1000Watt 2u. The HL4 and HL8 do fill that synology application but with more power and options.

The spirit of the project was to keep it as small as possible! I think we pulled that off! And all things considered it’s actually not that expensive. I believe under $4,500 USD for everything pictured.

Definately. I actually liked it so much I looked up the ups. I have several of the 2U versions and love them.
