HL15 backplane compatiblity with OCULINK?

I have the ASRock Rack X570D4I-2T in my HL8 and the OCULINK is working great with the backplane. Other than number of slots, there really shouldn’t be a difference between the backplane on the HL8 and HL15.

HL8 "Pro" Custom Build

I bought two of these OCulink SFF-8611 to Mini SAS SFF-8643 Cables at 60cm in length. There are some 50cm variants out there but 45Drives thought that would be too short to comfortably reach the furthest connector on the backplane.

Be sure to allow for enough strain relief on the OCULINK connector. It’s not exactly robust and it’s easy to bend or possibly break off the motherboard.
