Feet placement question for HL15Beast

Howdy,

Just got mine in and a question on how to setup the feet on the case. The manual isn’t very clear, it sounds like the placement is the same horizontal row as the rack strip - but that seems wrong. I would think it would be more of a four corners setup for stability but not sure if that is right.

My preference is to have power supply at top for how my network closet works, but I did see the other thread that it maybe the other way - but the screws seem very similar so hopeful I can place it other way.

Alternatively I can just use a 3rd party stick on - but before going that route wanted to clarify this. :slight_smile:

I’ve circled the holes intended for the feet. They come with dummy screws inserted. Note that the two at the back of the chassis near the PSU do not have corresponding holes on the opposite side. If you want to put the case the other way up you would need to drill/tap your own holes for those two, or possibly use some 3M VHB tape if you aren’t going to be moving the unit around a lot.

Perfect, very much appreciate the reply. I think I will end up going with my original idea of just using some stick on’s for now. Plus that way I can do 6 instead of four.
