Fan Shroud Design

Hi there 45HomeLab team,

I see you have a Fan Shroud option for the HL15 in your store. It looks like this is made from powder coated sheet metal; looks great and very sturdy.

Do you by any chance have a design for 3D printing that you would like to provide to your end users? I appreciate it is a relatively simple design which we can always have a go at replicating but if you already have it available and are willing to share it, no point reinventing the wheel. I am aware that you already provide designs of other 3D printed parts (thank you, supporting Open Source is one of the reasons I am a client).

I wanted to clarify that the request is done with practicality in mind, not trying to get something for free. I wouldn’t personally mind buying a couple in support of you and your business but I live abroad, so the postage, import fees/taxes and wait make purchasing it from the store in the US impractical when done retrospectively from the main order.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Thank you for your response,

I’ve checked this and I also checked what was made available in printables, As far as I can see however, the fan shroud is not included in these which is why I thought I ask.

can we use this to add it to a slicer and 3D print it?

Hi @iakovos,

I have requested for the file, I will share the link as soon as it is available.

Thank you very much @Vikram-45HomeLabs, much appreciated.
