Cockpit-alerts is not installing

Error while installing package: trying to overwrite '/etc/dbus-1/system.d/org._45drives.Houston.conf', which is also in package cockpit-zfs 1.2.24-1jammy

This on a Ubuntu LTS system.
Those of us of a certain age remember Firesign Theater's advice, "When you're two places at once, you're no place at all."

Should be an easy fix.

Hey @DismalWizard , What OS is this and what package are you trying to install that conflicts with cockpit-zfs?

Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS I was running a system update. The specific gripe is

Error while installing package: trying to overwrite '/etc/dbus-1/system.d/org._45drives.Houston.conf', which is also in package cockpit-zfs 1.2.24-1jammy

Apparently, the real issue is both packages are attempting to update a shared configuration file Houston.conf.

Updating fails at this point leaving pending updates.

Here’s the details on the .conf file

This issue should now be resolved. We pushed an update late afternoon to resolve this.

Please let me know if this issue has not been resolved

Thanks, Hutch. These things happen. Pleased with the way 45Drives responds when they do. Being 15 years retired, my DevOps skills are sadly atrophied so your response is deeply appreciated. Rocky HL-4 (and Rocky with teeth) are next to a pair of TrueNAS Mini+ with me wondering what to do when one loses its magic smoke. I think I know.
