Allow unRAID as an option for OS when building a HL4 or HL8 server

I know we have a “premium” server already featuring unRAID, but for a lot of us, that server is too expensive, or we have already bought servers from your organization to use with unRAID.

I would like to propose adding the option for adding unRAID as a server OS option for HL4 and HL8 machines.

Would this be possible?

I understand the reason for this request, and we appreciate this feedback.

I am happy to share that we will be working on an X4 and an X8 soon, and they will be added to our signature line of products.

We will definitely discuss internally about adding the Unraid OS on the HL4/8.

We appreciate this feedback, please share it with us, to help us make these offerings more in line with our customers.

this is a bummer. Unraid’s signature Array maxes out at 30 HDDs (2xParity and 28xData), so x30 would be perfect to get the most out of the Array.
